The film was much in news for some time due to ill treatment meted out to Bollywood import Neetu Chandra by the makers of the film. Neetu chandra is very familiar to the Telugu audiences as "Raji" from Sekhar Kammula's Classic "Gadavari".

Dr Rajasekhar has become popular by playing police officer's roles like Ankusam and others. He has got the image as an angry young man with those roles. He has played a tough cop for Satyameva Jayate and directed by Jeevitha Rajasekhar, the film reminds the audiences of his earlier powerful police officer's roles in his career.

Jeevitha has done a fairly good job in the directorial department. On the whole, watching this movie may give you a sense of deja vu.

Neetu Chandra has appeared in a mass masala role as a subordinate police officer called "Basara Papa". Sivaji has tried to play a playboy role in the film. Milind Soman has played the mafia don role and is okay as he appears in such role for the first time for the Telugu audiences. MLA M Satyanarayana Rao has played the role of Chief Minister like Mallemala in Ankusam.

Story:-Satya (Rajasekhar) is an honest cop who is entitled with the job of bringing a terrorist-suspect Dr. Ansari (Atul Kulakarni) from Vizag to Hyderabad. A terrorist (Milind Soman) has a personal score to settle with Satya and his job is to help Dr. Ansari escape from Satya's custody. The rest of the story is all about how Satya does his job successfully.
